SIMPLE EQUATION: "Less is more"
This time of year many of us are overindulging, exercising less and feeling a little sluggish and unmotivated. With a new year approaching now is the ideal time to set achievable health and wellness goals. While everyone's goals are different one must do what works for them; write them down and move forward to achieve them from there.
When do you make time for exercise? Where do your workouts take place? What type of activities (that interest YOU!) are available in your community? What are your eating habits? Does your day allow periods of relaxation or meditation?
How do you plan for these changes and achieve your goals?
These are all examples of simple wellness goals but chances are you just read them and now you're feeling somewhat overwhelmed and anxious. How do I start? What resources do I need to move forward with my goals? I have no idea what to do at the gym or if I'm doing the exercises properly. I'm on a budget, how can I achieve these health goals and not break the bank? Will I stay motivated?
Consider hiring a professional to get you in the right direction. As a Wellness Consultant and Personal Trainer, I assist individuals, locally or from afar, in achieving and maintaining optimum wellness by creating a plan of exercise, activity and lifestyle coaching on a monthly basis. This plan is based solely on the goals and needs of each individual. It's cost effective and teaches independence, confidence, motivation and life long success.
The "Basic 4-Week Program" includes 2 - 15 minute calls, 4 workouts (1 per week based on where you will exercise), a set plan of local gym and/or yoga classes to attend each week for a month, goal planning for lifestyle and nutritional choices. You will be provided with an initial health history and lifestyle questionnaire to fill out prior to the first phone consultation. This plan will set YOU up for success and have a coach to connect with!
Get in touch with me if you are looking for some guidance into the New Year, this program gets rolling January 1st. For more information on this program or other customized wellness programs please send me an email and I would be happy to provide helpful options.
